Abstract

Charges: Participating, committing, aiding and contributing the commission of offences constituting crimes against humanity as specified in section 3(2)(a)(g)(h) of the Act No. XIX of 1973. Considering the nature and proportion to the gravity of offences and also keeping the factors as discussed above into account the Tribunal is of the view that justice would be met if the accused Moulana Abdus Sobhan who has been found guilty beyond reasonable doubt for the crimes proved is condemned and sentenced to death, under the provision of section 20(2) of the Act of 1973.
