সমাবেশে বক্তারা
রাজধানীতে এক সমাবেশে যুদ্ধাপরাধীদের বিচার দ্রুত শুরুর তাগিদ দেওয়া হয়েছে। ১৯৭২-এর সংবিধান পুনঃপ্রবর্তন, ধর্মভিত্তিক রাজনীতি নিষিদ্ধ এবং পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রামে হত্যাকাণ্ডের দোসরদের বিচারও দাবি করা হয়েছে সমাবেশে।
গতকাল শনিবার বিকেলে রাজধানীর মুক্তাঙ্গনে এই সমাবেশের আয়োজন করে সাম্প্রদায়িকতা ও জঙ্গিবাদবিরোধী মঞ্চ। সমাবেশে আওয়ামী লীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক ও স্থানীয় সরকারমন্ত্রী সৈয়দ আশরাফের প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থাকার কথা ছিল, তবে তিনি আসেননি। পরে আওয়ামী লীগের যুগ্ম সাধারণ সম্পাদক মাহাবুব-উল-আলম সমাবেশে আসেন।

Commerce Minister Faruk Khan yesterday said the government will start the process of trying war criminals soon and it will be conducted in line with international standards.
