Prosecutor has completed Ali Ahsan Mujahid’s indincment hearing and charged him with eight claims.

The defense councelor thinks it is a dangerious practice as the prosecutor applied to accept the interview given to the investigation agency as witness testimony.

Ali Ahsan Mujahid is charged with several charges including captivity killing of freedom fighters and intellectual killing. An application i made by the prosecutor to accept the testimony to the investigation team against Saydee as it is not possible to present witness for various reason

Law minister Shafique Ahmed announced officially the constitution for second tribunal for war crime trial will come on Sunday.

The government decided to set up a second tribunal to speed up the trial for crime against humanity. Justice ATM Fazle Kabir is likely to head the second tribunal.

To speed up the process of war crime trial, the name for the new tribunal members will be announced very soon announced by Kamrul Islam.

Set up of a new tribunal has been finalised and will start working on end of this month.

Tribunal was strange to see no charge against Motiur Rahman Nizami about his involvement on murdering intellectuals in the report made by prosecution. Prosecutor confirmed the complain is there and it will be shown with full evidence

In tribunal’s opinion 2 can be made as formal charge out of 15 complain made by prosecutor against Motiur Rahman Nizami. Tribunal was dissatisfied about not making complain against Nizami for his involvement on killing intellectuals.

Motiur Rahman Nizami committed murder, rape, abduction and cospire and command killing of intelectuals in 1971. said by procecution. Tribunal was surprsed to see killing of intelectualls did not come as a formal charge against Nizami.
