The International Crimes Tribunal on Thursday issued warrants of arrest for two former Al Badr leaders Ashrafuzzaman Khan and Chowdhury Mueen-Uddin, who stand accused of killings scores of leading Bengali intellectuals during the 1971 liberation war.
Both the accused are absconding.

মঙ্গলবার প্রথম যুদ্ধাপরাধ ট্রাইব্যুনালে নিজেদের যুক্তির পক্ষে মামলার তদন্ত কর্মকর্তা ও প্রসিকিউশনের এক সাক্ষীর উপস্থাপিত আলামতের মধ্যে অসংলগ্নতাও তুলে ধরেন তারা।

Dhaka, Oct 16 (bdnews24.com)-The first war crimes tribunal on Tuesday allowed Jamaat-e-Islami leader Delwar Hossain Sayedee’s son to submit copies of two general diaries as exhibits with a strong caution.
The tribunal Chairman Justice Mohammad Nizamul Huq told Sayedee’s defence whether they understood the gravity of their risk if the documents were proven forged.
The general diaries were filed by Amjad Hossain, an inspector of the tribunal’s investigation agency, who was in charge of security at the witness home in Golapbagh, Dhaka.
