DHAKA: International Crimes Tribunal Wednesday deferred the hearing on taking into cognizance the formal charges against Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary general Kamaruzzaman for crimes against humanity during liberation war in 1971.

Dhaka, Dec 12 (bdnews24.com)—The prosecution has moved the war crimes tribunal to issue arrest warrant for Jamaat-e-Islami’s guru and former chief Ghulam Azam for his role in the 1971 Liberation War against Pakistan.
The appeal was made on Monday after chief prosecutor Ghulam Arieff Tipoo submitted a 52-point charter of charges to the three-judge tribunal headed by Justice Nizamul Huq on Monday.
