ঢাকা, মার্চ ২১ (বিডিনিউজ টোয়েন্টিফোর ডটকম)- যুদ্ধাপরাধের মামলায় জামায়াতে ইসলামীর আমীর মতিউর রহমান নিজামীর বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ গঠনের জন্য প্রসিকিউশনের যুক্তি উপস্থাপন শেষ হয়েছে। আসামির আইনজীবীদের যুক্তি শোনার জন্য ২৭ মার্চ দিন রেখেছে আদালত।
বিচারপতি নিজামুল হকের নেতৃত্বে তিন সদস্যের আন্তর্জাতিক অপরাধ ট্রাইব্যুনাল বুধবার এই দিন ঠিক করে দেন।
সকালে আদালতের কার্যক্রম শুরুর পর প্রসিকিউটর হায়দার আলী ১৫টি অভিযোগে নিজামীর বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ গঠনের পক্ষে যুক্তি উপস্থাপন শেষ করেন।
এরপর ট্রাইব্যুনালে এ মামলার কার্যক্রম মুলতবি করে জানানো হয়, অভিযোগ গঠনের বিষয়ে ২৭ মার্চ আসামিপক্ষের আইনজীবীদের বক্তব্য শুনবে আদালত।

Tribunal was strange to see no charge against Motiur Rahman Nizami about his involvement on murdering intellectuals in the report made by prosecution. Prosecutor confirmed the complain is there and it will be shown with full evidence

In tribunal’s opinion 2 can be made as formal charge out of 15 complain made by prosecutor against Motiur Rahman Nizami. Tribunal was dissatisfied about not making complain against Nizami for his involvement on killing intellectuals.

Motiur Rahman Nizami committed murder, rape, abduction and cospire and command killing of intelectuals in 1971. said by procecution. Tribunal was surprsed to see killing of intelectualls did not come as a formal charge against Nizami.

Tribunal showed it’s concern regarding the in complete and dissatisfactory report made by the investigation team.

The defence lawyer will present his argument on 21st March on making of formal charge against Abdul Qader Molla. Tribunal found some incomplete information on the charge and questioned prosecutor about them.

15 charges have been proposed by the prosecutors against Motiur Rahman Nizami. Tribunal wondered why the killing of intelectual was not included in the charge but prosecutors ensured it is included in greater context.

The ICT adjourned Motiur Rahman Nizami’s indictment hearing. State procecutor Altar Uddin Ahmed read 23 pages of charges out of 73 during the hearing.

Motur Rahman Nizami’s indictment hearing begins with reading of 23 pages out of 72 that will continue on 14th of March. The tribunal rejected all six petitions made by Saka Chowdhury. Defence representative iwas suppose to present his arguents against indictment of Golam Azam but it was abjourned on request of defence lawyer.

The charge frameing hearing against Motiur Rahman Nizami and Abdul Qader Molla will held on Wednessday 14th of March.
